Rick Kinzbrunner is one of those highly individual winemakers that have established an international cult following, particularly for his Chardonnay. Kinzbrunner’s winemaking influence and inspiration continues to be ‘old world’ and old fashioned old world at that. Having learnt his craft from Burgundy and Bordeaux, Rick seeks to make more or less ‘natural’ wines of great complexity and concentration. The results? Classic European elegant wines that are handcrafted in very small quantities.
Giaconda is situated 9km of Beechworth in Northeastern Victoria and due to its highly limited production; Giaconda wines have been highly sought-after in the international market.
